The Science

One band of light.
Three ways to block it.

Blue light is a narrow, high-energy slice of the visible spectrum — the part your screens flood you with. Block it, and the colour you see is the proof it’s working.

Your three tints block 89–99% of this band — before it reaches your eyes.

Evening96%+
Night99%

Why your eyes hurt at night

  • Your screens emit a concentrated band of blue light — the same wavelengths your brain reads as “it’s midday.” Hours of it strain your eyes. At night, it suppresses melatonin, the hormone that makes you sleepy. That’s why you can scroll at 1am and still feel wired.

  • Melatonin comparison - scrolling at night with and without the Wavelength Night Lens

Same phone, same night. Without protection your melatonin stays suppressed and you stay wired. Through the Night Lens, the blue never reaches your eyes — and your body winds down on schedule.

Real protection has a color

  • Same blue light, three levels of protection - blocking diagram

Blocking blue light means absorbing it — and absorbing it always leaves a color behind. That’s physics, not styling. Clear lenses can’t block meaningfully, because if they did, they wouldn’t be clear. The deeper the tint, the more blue light stops at the lens instead of your eyes.
