Wavelength exists because of a number most eyewear brands hope you never look up: how much blue light a clear lens actually blocks. We looked it up. Then we built glasses that publish their numbers.

The hatched band is the problem — the wavelengths that strain your eyes by day and keep you awake at night. A lens that truly cuts this band can’t be clear. That’s not branding. That’s physics.

Why we started

The problem hides in plain sight.

Typical clear “blue-light” lenses block only a sliver of the blue band. They look like protection — they test like window glass. So we made a rule for ourselves: never sell a number we can’t show on a lab sheet.

Color is the mechanism

Blocking the blue band is subtractive: take blue out of white light and what passes through is warm. If a lens is clear, the blue went through. Our tints aren’t a style choice — they’re the receipt.
